Observed BOD on the Kushiro River Basin
Environmental quality standard for BOD are set dependent on the aquatic clssification. Fot the case of Kushiro river, upstream is classified as AA、and mid to downstream are claassified from AA to E. There are eight measurement point, over the basin of Kushiro river, and the standard is faily fulfilled at all of those points. (The figure below is the avaraged data of daily measuerment in 2000)
